Our Specificity
- ISS staff do everything within their power to help the UNCRC gain worldwide acceptance. This is particularly true for the problems involving children and their families scattered over more than one country.
- The international network of the ISS is set up as a federation. Every national chapter develops an individual structure of its own, however, all branches offer one another services on the basis of reciprocity and global solidarity.
- The General Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland coordinates the ISS network and maintains contact with other international organisations. In addition, it houses a Research Centre on transnational and extra-familial social work.
